Install×Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what your rights are. We have written it in plain language because we think you deserve to actually understand it.

Account data When you create an account we collect your name and email address. This is necessary to provide you with access to your subscription.
Payment data Payments are processed by our third party payment provider. We do not store your card details. We retain a record of your subscription status and transaction history.
Usage data We collect information about how you use the app — which sessions you play, how often you use the app, and general engagement data. This helps us understand what content is working and what to build next.
Device data We collect basic technical information including your device type, operating system and browser. This is used to ensure the app works correctly on your device.
Communications If you contact us by email or WhatsApp we retain those communications to help us respond and improve our service.
Analytics and tracking We use analytics tools including Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and interact with our app and website. This may involve the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 6 for more detail.
We use your data to: provide and manage your account and subscription; process payments and send receipts; deliver the sessions and content you have access to; improve the app and develop new content; communicate with you about your account, updates and new features; send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them; understand how our advertising is performing so we can reach the right people.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.
Contract: Processing necessary to provide you with the service you have subscribed to. Legitimate interests: Analytics and app improvement that do not override your rights. Consent: Marketing communications and non-essential cookies, where you have opted in. Legal obligation: Where we are required to retain data by law.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days except where we are legally required to retain it — for example, financial transaction records which we retain for 7 years. Usage and analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymised form after your account is deleted.
Our app and website use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Essential cookies are required for the app to function. You cannot opt out of these. Analytics cookies help us understand how the app is used. These include Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Advertising cookies help us measure the effectiveness of our Meta advertising and reach people who may be interested in IMD. This includes the Meta Pixel. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Opting out of non-essential cookies may affect some functionality.
We share data with the following categories of third parties only where necessary: Payment processors (Stripe, and Apple or Google when you subscribe through their stores) to handle subscription billing securely; Analytics providers Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager; Advertising platforms Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for ad measurement and targeting; Hosting and storage Railway (application hosting), Cloudflare (audio and media storage) and Postmark (email delivery). All third parties are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
IMD Breathwork operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own including the United Arab Emirates, the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred internationally we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Depending on where you are located you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: Access (request a copy of the data we hold about you); Correction; Deletion; Restriction; Portability; Objection (including to marketing); Withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings in the app. To exercise any other right contact us at transform@imdbreathwork.com. We will respond within 30 days.
The IMD On Demand app is intended for users aged 18 and over. Certain sessions are marked as suitable for ages 12 and above but should only be used by minors under parental supervision. The Breathing for Children game is designed to be played by a child alongside the adult account holder; it creates no account for the child and collects no personal data from the child. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our obligations seriously.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you via the app or by email. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when it was last updated.
